Most Common Pest
Ants
There are various species of ants in Oklahoma. The most problematic areas where ants are found in a residence are the kitchen and bathrooms. Though most ants do not cause damage, they sure can be a big nuisance! However, carpenter ants are also common in Oklahoma and can cause structural damage.
Spiders
There are various types of spiders in Oklahoma including black widows, brown recluses, and wolf spiders just to name a few. Spiders usually require an interior/exterior crack and crevice treatment but for best results we recommend a pest maintenance program.
Mice
House mice are the most commonly encountered type of mouse. Mice are not only a nuisance by the damage they cause by gnawing, nesting and contaminating stored food, but they are also a human health risk due to their ability to carry diseases.
Scorpions
Scorpions are nocturnal feeders. They feed mostly on insects like crickets, cockroaches, and spiders, but they can also be cannibalistic. During the day scorpions usually hide but it is not uncommon to see them. Scorpions enter houses through the wall voids. Control of scorpions can be achieved through various methods but the most effective are professional grade repellents.
